J. Regester & Sons forged this bell in Maryland and it was place in the cupola of the Sullivan County Courthouse in 1870. It remained there for over 100-years and on October 15,1979 the bell was removed and place on the courthouse grounds as part of Sullivan County's Bicentennial Celebration.
