A grouping of buildings located along a pedestrian staircase in North Berkeley by Bernard Maybeck. This "great building" is actually great landscape architecture!

Stepping up the curved staircase from the rather busy Euclid Avenue is like stepping into another, quieter time. This charming walkway was designed by Bernard Maybeck, one of the architects who defined the style of the north Berkeley Hills. The path is lined with cottages by Henry H. Gutterson. The walkway is located near the Berkeley Rose Garden off of Euclid Avenue.
For Geocachers, there's a cache located near here.
