The Racehorse Inn is believed to be over 300 years old. The building was originally a school for local children. It was purchased from the Diocese of Truro in 1964 and converted into a public house.
The inn has been sympathetically refurbished by the current owners. It now offers easy access for the disabled and a separate dining room. The comfortable beamed lounge and bar area have open log fires. The whole place is very inviting.
