St Giles, Houghton St Giles, also known as Houghton In the Dale, Norfolk.
Houghton St Giles is a beautiful village on the outskirts of Walsingham. It is home to the Catholic National Shrine of Our Lady, the complex of which is on the other side of the River Stiffkey to St Giles, the Anglican Parish church.
In the chancel a stained glass window, depicts Christ as the Good Shepherd. The legend at the bottom records In memory of Dec 30 1876, and beneath that He shall gather the lambs in his arm.
