The Orientation table can be found on the unclassified road in the Kingsdale Valley that connects Thornton in Losdale with the village of Dent,the valley bisects the Fells of Wherneside and Gragareth,there are a few roadside pull ins nearby where walkers park and begin there ascents of the fells from,The Orientation Table on this road is a super place to sit for a while and identify the various fells which may be about to be climbed or to simply look back on to see where you have been on one of the many great walking routes around here,conversely you may just wish to view these places from the comfort of the stone seats and not visit them at all,either way it's a superb view point.
