Diddington is a pretty, old village just off the A1 dual carriageway. The church tower dates from the 16th century and has a battlemented parapet. The gargoyles are on the corners of the tower.

The gargoyles are somewhat worn but their distinct shape can be seen as they clutch onto the tower walls.
