An impressive wall of names carved into granite listing all the confederate veterans buried in the nearby cemetery. This monument was erected in 1999 by the community of Dalton, Georgia. Hundreds of names are listed on the wall with rank and unit. This project must have been painstaking to say the least because of the sheer number of names listed. The monument itself is beautiful and a walkway of engraved bricks leads up to the monument. An older monument erected 100 years earlier lies at the back of the section of the cemetery dedicated to the 141 unknown Confederate Soldiers and 4 unknown Union soldiers buried there.
