Here, on May 6, 1780, Col. A. M. White was routed by Tarleton with the loss of two of ficersand thirty-six men killed and wounded and seven officers and sixty dragoons taken; Tarleton lost 2 men. Two boys, Francis Deliesseline and Samuel Dupre, recaptured fourteen of White's horses and delivered them to Maj. Jamison, Georgetown, refusing reward.
