The house incorporates the village stone at the base and red brick in the upper storey. It is tiled in the traditional Victorian slate. The date the house was built in appears on the entrance porch as 1848.
It is located just off the A428 main road which runs through the centre of the village and is opposite The Three Fyshes public house. Now, the house has been converted into flats. It stands very near the River Great Ouse.
