I have watched this surprisingly entertaining movie twice. The film is about a family who has devoted their lives to the pursuit of a hidden treasure. One of the clues to the treasure is located on the Declaration of Independence so Ben (Nicholas Cage) and Riley (Justin Bartha) plan to steal it. They check out the National Archives in preparation for stealing the Declaration of Independence.

Above the case displays in the Rotunda of the National Archives are two large wall murals painted by artist Barry Faulkner in 1935-36. On the left, The “Declaration of Independence” shows Thomas Jefferson presenting a draft of the Declaration to John Hancock, President of the Continental Congress. On the right, “The Constitution of the United States” shows James Madison offering the final draft of the Constitution to George Washington, President of the Constitutional Convention. It is the latter mural that is shown in the background of the movie scenes.
