It's located on the river, up until recently the area was a huge party area during Tulameen Daze - It is believed it got started by the party people throwing their shoes in the tree. However, as is well known, all shoe trees are started by someone throwing one pair and it grows... lol
11/01/08 - Well, the original shoe tree fell into the river during a windy time this summer - however they saved all the shoes they could and put them on a new tree a short bit away... lol
Will get a new picture of that one up soon - currently, and likely until spring the original tree can still be seen down the river bank (sans shoes).
