This toll-house is sited alongside A388 at the junction with the road to Golberdon to the west and the road to Downgate to the east.The A388 follows the route of the new turnpike road to Launceston via Wooda bridge. The old road went via Stokeclimsland and Beals Mill bridge. The building has been much altered with the door and roadside porch being hidden under modern rendering. The building is now part of a kennels business.
