This bridge was built by the Canton (Ohio) Bridge Company and originally spanned Willow Creek southwest of Pierce on the historic Meridian Highway. In 1994 it was moved to its present site in Gilman park in Pierce, Nebraska where it is now used as a footbridge.

The steel span is a rigid-connected lattice pony truss, a very old truss type commonly used in wood for covered bridges. At the time it was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1992, it was one of two of its type in Nebraska.
Date Built: 01/01/1913

Length of Span:
34 feet
