This is definitely one of those old houses with a lot of character. Except for probably being a bit drafty in the winter, it must be such a blast to live. It appears to be a two-story house with an attic, probably converted to another bedroom or two. It also seems there have been numerous additions made over the years. I counted at least two.
Located at 243 West Main Street in downtown Moorestown, this is one of 351 contributing buildings/structures to this historic district.
The Department of the Interior sent me the following narrative/information on this house:
"c.1775. 2 1/2-story, 3-register Georgian house, scored stucco over brick. Swan's neck pedimented frontispiece. 4/4 double hung sash, wood lintels and sills. Paneled shutters at first floor, louvered above. Rear 2-story wing. Side Victorian porch. - Contributing.”
