According to their website," *The Solar Panels Generate 26.5 kilowatts. They supply 100% of the electricity for our Mill Valley Store. *The system was installed June, 2004 at a a cost of $111,000 after the rebates. *It should pay for itself in about 8 or 9 years.
*The solar panels have no moving parts. It is completely silent and guaranteed for 25 years. The design life is 40 years. *The panels require very little maintenance and produces no toxic emissions and no greenhouse gases. *Before installing the solar, out monthly PG&E charges were just under $1000 a month. *After installation, our monthly PG&E electric charges are $6.75 per month. *The system collects energy from the sun during daylight hours and stores credits for use on days and nights when its dark. *The solar system is one of the reasons that both Stefano's locations were named MARIN GREEN BUSINESSES by the marin County Board of Supervisors."
