Charles Crocker is interred in one of the large tombs on Millionaire's Row in the Olmsted-designed Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland, CA.
Description:
Charles Crocker made his fortune in California selling supples to the 49ers. By 1854, he was one of the wealthiest men in Sacramento. Along with Mark Hopkins, Collis Huntington and Leland Stanford he became known as one of the "Big Four" and builders of the Central Pacific RR, the western portion of the Transcontinental RR.
