Christopher Columbus Park is a very small park in downtown Memphis, TN. The park was dedicated in honor of the Italian American Community of Memphis and to their contribution to the heritage and growth of the city. This was provided by the Memphis Chapter of UNICO National (an Italian-American service organization) and the City of Memphis, Richard C. Hackett, Mayor.
A statue of Christopher Columbus is on display. It is bronze and placed on a small concrete pedestal. The plaque on the statue reads:
