The following is an excerpt from " New York: A Guide to the Empire State-Tour #8".

Grange Hall,No.1, Main St., is an object of pride in Fredonia as the home of the first Subordinate grange, established here in 1868, of the National Grange of Patrons of Husbandry.

Today the Grange Hall is a multi-use building, housing, in addition to the Grange itself, the Masonic Lodge # 301, OES Sylvan Chapter #258, the Preservation Society and the Unitarian Universal Congregation.
