Views of the abundant wildlife residing at the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge can be seen from this vantage point. The orientation table points out several areas within range of the un-aided eye, that are known to be home for several species of birds, deer, and many other residents of the refuge. M.N.W.R. is located in Seneca and Wayne Counties and was established in 1938 to provide nesting, resting and feeding areas for waterfowl and other migratory birds. This refuge contains more than 7000 acres of widely diversified habitat, from extensive marshes to upland hardwoods. This refuge is home for tens of thousands of migrant birds during the Spring and Fall months.
