The building originally housed business, editorial, and shop facilities of the Cincinnati Enquirer on the first five floors and other commercial offices on the other floors. The Cincinnati Enquirer was and continues to be the major newspaper for the Greater Cincinnati area. The newspaper no longer located in the building and the building is used for commercial office space.
