The Council is the largest provider of youth services in Burlington County. They provide program opportunities for over 12,000 youth and 2,500 adult volunteers. The Council was originally chartered in 1925 and incorporated by the State of NJ in 1935.

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
The Council is committed to providing an outstanding Scouting experience to youth and adult volunteers throughout Burlington County. It is the Council’s goal to continue to be recognized as “The Premier Provider” of exceptional youth programs throughout Burlington County.
The Council serves all of Burlington County with the exception of Bass River and Washington Township.
During 2004, over 12,000 youth were served in the Scouting program in Burlington County. Over 2,500 adults were registered in the program.
