Built by the American Bridge Co. for the Southern Pacific Railroad in 1911 this bridge is still used daily by Traffic into and out of Sacramento. This swing bridge is interesting in that it carries an upper and lower deck. The upper deck carries motor traffic while the lower deck carries a double tracked railway.
