[EN] It was naturally defended by three abrupt slopes ; since the bronze age, (Late bronze about 1100 B.C.) man modified and completed its defence by the building of an earthen dike around the surface, 86 m long, and 79 m wide ; the floor is still 2 meters above the surrounding ground level.
Different features have been identified or uncovered : a defended area surrounded by a ditch and a secondary rampart, six gallic huts having square floors. It was abandoned before the arrival of the Romans in the Parisis area (excavations by Gérard Ducoeur from 1973 to 1978).
