It made me sad to see this but I had to add it to the fray. This is the view of the NYC skyline, one of the most famous in the word, prior to 9/11/2001. Do YOU remember?

Because there was nothing of special importance of the World Trade Center at the time this plaque was written, the WTC is not even mentioned. I think this is because we all incorrectly assumed it would always be there.
