This monument located in Hyde Park near the rose garden, is made up of two Bells that were removed from discontinued firehouses. The upper bell came from the Niagara and Second St. hall ( circa 1886 ), and the lower, larger bell, from the Niagara Ave. hall ( circa 1900 ). The monument was placed to serve as an inspiration and a reminder of the service of volunteer firemen.
