The Blood that flowed in Kansas before and during the Civil War nourished the twin trees of Liberty and Union.

This was a really neat marker I found while doing a tour of Ft. Scott just after the Geodetic Tour of 2008.
The saying really hit me and I really enjoyed the little park it sits in.
So make sure and stop while seeing the other great things here.
