This World War II Memorial is located in Veterans Plaza, Overton Park, Memphis, Tennessee. Veterans Plaza contains memorials to the veterans of Memphis and Shelby County who were killed defending our freedom.
These bronze plaques were erected in 2001 to honor WWII fallen soldiers. The bronze plaques mounted on white limestone bear the names of 875 local casualties.
