Located on the north side of the UC Berkeley Campus along Hearst Street above Euclid Avenue. This brown-shingled building is one of the earliest buildings on campus and part of Howard's original campus plan. Like its neighbor, the earlier Northgate Hall, it steps up the hill along Hearst Street.
Note: As of the writing of this (2008), the area is undergoing a great deal of construction, and the area is very unattractive.
