Richard Hubberthorne was a Quaker martyr who died in 1662. This clock commemorates him. Where it is mounted, the old school, is now a hostel run by local Quakers.

QUAKER MARTYR OF YEALAND
THIS CLOCK WAS RESTORED IN 1962
TO COMMEMORATE THE TERCENTENARY
OF HIS DEATH ON 17th AUGUST 1662

The clock face is white with black Roman numerals and two hands.
