The Paul W. Bryant Museum is located on the Campus of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. The idea for the museum came from Coach Bryant, who wanted to establish a museum that would honor the coaches, players and history of Alabama Football. The museum opened in 1988, some 5-years after Coach Bryant’s dead and features personal artifacts donated by the Coach himself as well as many of his former players. In addition to a replica of Coach Bryant office, which includes his desk and chair, visitors can see many of the National Championship Trophies won by the Crimson Tide. One of the most stunning exhibits is the Waterford Crystal replica of Coach Bryant’s trademark houndstooth. The museum is located near Coleman Coliseum and just down the street from Bryant Denny Stadium.
