The Smyrna Museum established by the Duck Creek Historical Society is located in the heart of Smyrna, Delaware on Main Street. Open Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday from 10am-1pm.
This building was once owned by a local druggist (1859-1905)who renovated the building and expanded to include a store for his place of business.
It was the enrollment center for Union troops in Delaware and on August 12, 1863, the state's first Civil War draft lottery drawing was held on the front porch of the "Barracks".

Theme: An eclectic mix of local artifacts displayed in a former military barracks building. Featured are toys, dolls, Native American artifacts, historical paintings and more than 400 pitchers. The mid-1700s Plank House is on site.
