Small town lodge in south west Ohio. Preble County.
The village is Gratis, but the sign says Eden Lodge. I cannot find anything to explain the different names.

The date of construction and the lodge number are on the white plaque on the side of the building. Now that the picture is on my computer I can't make out either number. When I motor through Gratis- I'll stop and get the numbers.
Location Details:
A neighbor across the street told me that the building's first floor initially housed the community's fire department, then it became a grocery store. Today it is the Gratis Post Office. He told me that the building looked so good because they applied a special sealant paint to the bricks. Being as it was Tuesday evening- he invited me to stick around for the meeting. Alas, I had to move on.
