The pumps are long gone but the signs are there and the light was on.
Had the vintage Fuel Truck parked out front as well.
Located at Yates Center in the Blustem Cattle region of Kansas along Highway 54 (109 Is on the front door).
I ran across this gas station and service center on my way back from the 2008 Geodetic Tour at Meades Ranch.
There is a great Old Log cabin across the street as well,probably the first one in this area.
The Historical sign just west says 75,000 head of cattle a year are fed in this county alone which covers 739,000 acres.
