This Bell, and the flag pole behind it, were once a part of the Jasper County Courthouse clock tower. They could be seen for miles for almost a century.
On November 30, 1996, the bell and flag pole were removed from the clock tower to prevent structural damage to the building. They were placed on the courthouse grounds and dedicated to the citizens of Jasper County.
