The Forrest Barber Shop is next to Forrest Place. Originally The Forrest Hotel, built in 1915 it was named after Confederate Gen. Nathan Bedford Forrest. In its heyday movie stars stayed here. One of the most famous being Ronald Regan in his pre-presidential days. The shop was the hotels barber shop,who knows what famous person might have had their hair cut here. The shop was closed at the time the pictures were taken, so a visit could not be made.
