This Sculpture was created by Artist Allen Jones in 1990, purchased by Milton Keynes Developement corp, and donated to MK Parks Trust. It sits in Campbell Park, Milton Keynes at the crossroads of 2 major cycle routes, 51 and 6, near the Grand Union Canal.
It is made from Corten Steel, which weathers to give it's textured appearance. From certain angles this sculpture justs looks like an abstract shape. The Human profile becomes visible as you move around it. This was the deliberate intention for the piece, to get the viewer to spend time looking at its shape and form.
