Duck Bridge is an ancient late 14th.century packhorse bridge, the bridge was closed to vehicle traffic some years ago,and now is only used by pedestrians.
The bridge bears the coat of arms of the Nevilles, who succeeded to Danby in 1380,the medieval bridge was restored in 1717.
The bridge is regarded by many to be one of the most original and best preserved of it's kind.
