This monumnet os currently only inscribed on one side, leaving 3 blank sides to be inscribed at a later date. Though no date is inscribed on the monument I have found pictures of this monumnet dated from 1898.

Description of Memorial: A monlithic monument standing about 50ft tall in a center island of the historic square along RT 20 in Girard, PA. This PArk house many other historic attractions like canons, artillary pieces, statues of gods and godesses, animals, and a number of memorials.
