This bronze pipe cap originally marked an angle point on the boundary of the old Ramon Vigil Grant.

The marker is located on publicly accessible land northeast of the intersection of state road 501 and the southern entrance to Anchor Ranch. It is located next to the remains of a large fencepost log that still has quite a bit of barbed wire on it. There is lots of evidence of the old ranch fence nearby.
