To reach this overlook you must park at one of the trailheads at the Howard Buford Recreation Area. This Mt. Pisgah Trail Map shows the different parking areas available but I would recommend parking at the Mt. Pisgah Arboretum parking area and taking one of the trails up from there. There have been break ins at some of the other parking areas.

  • There is a fee to park here and Lane County is aggressive in giving (exorbitant) fines.
  • Please be aware that there is an abundance of poison oak in this area.
