The mark is located about 3 feet above ground level & is located on the SE wall (front) of St. John Lutheran Church facing E Main Street (PA 116). It is about 1 foot NE of the S corner of the church.

To reach from the traffic circle in Gettysburg, proceed S on Baltimore Street for 1 block to W. Middle Street & turn W (right). Follow W. Middle Street (PA 116) which becomes Fairfield Road for 8 miles to the center of Fairfield & the disk on the right.
