This bridge is one of two in this area. The Harmon Covered Bridge crosses Plum Creek. This is the only 20th century bridge in Indiana County Pennsylvania. It was built for a cost of $525 in 1910. It is 40 feet long and has a 14 ft roadway. This bridge was named for a Civil War veteran, J.S. Harmon.
Current Condition of Bridge: Maintained as tourist spot, not in use as a crossing for vehicles.
