Canad Inns Stadium has about 30,000 permanent seats but has hosted audiences in excess of 50,000 people at major concerts such as The Rolling Stones and U2.
For the 2006 Grey Cup, Canada’s largest annual sporting event, temporary bleachers were put up at the south end of the football field, enlarging the stadium's capacity to 44,784.
From 1994-1998, this stadium was also home to the Winnipeg Goldeyes, an independent minor league baseball team in the Northern League.
