"Miami-based artist Neijna is known for her pristine geometric sculptures, almost always white. Her forms often remind one of entries, opportunities to walk through openings. Collaborating closely with the architect, Neijna created a sculpture for the Haskell Building on the riverfront, an arched form through which one both enters and exits the building. Viewed from the St. Johns River, this sculpture appears to be a part of the architecture and yet set apart from it.
Information from Jacqueline Mullikin Holmes, arts consultant and president of Art Sources.
