St. James at Sag Bridge Church and Cemetery have been here since the 1830's, but the current building was constructed in 1912.
The most commonly reported ghost sighting has been a phantom horse and carriage arriving at the church. At that point, a female enters the carriage which begins to depart. However, by the time it reaches the gates it has disappeared.
A similar sighting reports a horse-drawn hearse traveling long Archer Avenue with an infant's casket seen - GLOWING! - from the viewing window.
There have been other reports of other ghostly horses, monks, parishioners and even the Devil.
