This is a State Highway Commission Benchmark with the following stamped on it:State Highway Comm Benchmark,Elev,3861.29.It is located just outside of the entrance to the Lewis And Clark County Fairgrounds in Helena,Montana.It is approximately 15 ft. north of Custer Avenue,15ft.east of Fairgrounds Lane,and 1ft. west of a fence,at the top of a 3 ft.tall concrete post that is painted red.
