This memorial plaque appears on All Saints Episcopal Church, dating from 1892, in the Dorchester district of Boston, Massachusetts. Everatt Peabody was Col. of the 23th Regiment of the Missouri Vol and was killed in 1862 in the Battle of Shiloh.

Col. Everett Peabody played a pivitol role in the Battle of Shiloh, by engaging the Confederat troops at Pittsburgh Landing, enabling General Grant to repel the attacks of the Confederate attack.
