Historic Rock Art is the reason Seminole Canyon exists. To see the rock art up close you have to take a tour. To view what the caves are like where the rock art is painted, view through the monocular. If you are physically able to walk down in the canyon, take the tour. If you are not able to do an strenuous hiking in hot conditions, pay the $.50 and take a look through the monocular. It's decidely not the same thing, but you will get a much better view of the canyon than you can with just the naked eye.
