"The Alvarado Adobe is a reconstruction of the adobe home which originally stood on this site. It was occupied by California Governor Juan Bautiste Alvarado from 1848 to his death in 1882. The museum includes rooms furnished as they were while Governor Alvarado lived in the home, and rotating exhibits about life in San Pablo. "
