The Chieftain Restaurant and it's conspicuous sign are located along South Tacoma Way, formerly known as U.S. Route 99. The neighborhood has seen better days, but the restaurant still is quite popular.

This restaurant was at one time located in a prime location along the nation's major north/south highway. Now, it's a lonely broken down spot that's seen better days.
Even with its bullet holes, the large Chieftain sign is still wonderful and full of character.
